Broadmead Lane, Keynsham

We were called at 4:45pm to reports of a fire in an Industrial Building on Broadmead Lane, Keynsham.

Twelve fire engines, two turntable ladders, and the Services’ Command Unit attended the incident alongside a number of fire officers.

Local people were encouraged to avoid the area while we dealt with the incident.

The fire has been safely extinguished. Crews re-attended the scene in the early hours of the morning to check for hot spots and ensure the scene was safe.

One person was taken to hospital via ambulance.

The cause of the fire currently remains unknown.
