We work closely with local youth groups, including Scouts, Guides and many others, to help educate young people on fire safety and learn more about the fire and rescue service.
What we offer
If you are youth group leader and would like your local fire station to help your group achieve their fire safety badges and awards, or would like an introduction to the local firefighters, please complete the form below.
During the visit, our firefighters will focus on important fire safety lessons, including:
- Identifying fire risks at home
- Making a fire escape plan
- The importance of having working smoke alarms
- The various roles of the fire and rescue service
Please give plenty of notice for any request. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but unfortunately dates and times cannot always be guaranteed due to our firefighters shift patterns.
