Avon Fire & Rescue Service to host a series of online firefighter recruitment workshops

Ahead of it’s wholetime firefighter recruitment campaign launching on 6 January 2025, Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) will be hosting a series of virtual discovery workshops for prospective firefighters to find out more about the role.

The hour-long online workshops, hosted on Zoom, will give attendees the opportunity to learn all about the rewarding career of firefighting. Providing invaluable insights into the life of a firefighter, the sessions aim to provide the tools and confidence to take the next steps in the journey. Plus, our team will share tips to help ace an application. Here’s what to expect:

• Discover if firefighting is the right career for you
