Avonvale Road, Redfield

Crews from Temple, Hicks Gate, Kingswood, Bedminster, Southmead and Avonmouth were called at 19:25 on Tuesday, 26 November to reports of a fire at a property on Avonvale Road, Redfield.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire in the bin store of the property and used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the blaze.

The property was evacuated and there were fortunately no casualties.

The cause of the fire is thought to have been accidental ignition.
