Transfer to Avon Fire & Rescue Service as a competent Wholetime Firefighter. Submit your expression of interest for future permanent opportunities within the Service.
We are currently seeking competent skilled personnel from the Wholetime Duty System at other Fire and Rescue Services to transfer into Avon Fire & Rescue Service’s Wholetime Duty System. This opportunity is open to competent Firefighters only (Wholetime only).
Please be aware that you could be posted to any role, location or station within the Service, this will be based on Service needs and requirements. We cannot guarantee that you will be posted to a location near to your home address.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for this transfer opportunity:
Be a competent Firefighter in a substantive whole-time position within a UK Fire & Rescue Service.
Hold the qualifications and competencies required for your current role.
Have a current and valid operational fitness assessment and occupational medical clearance.
Hold a full UK Category B driving licence.
Be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance and conduct in your current role.
Meet any additional qualification or competency requirements specified for the post being applied for.
