The Fire Fighters Charity is one of the main charities Avon Fire & Rescue Service (AF&RS) support. The charity exists to help all serving and retired members of the UK’s fire family to live healthier and happier lives.
They provide support for the whole fire family, including:
- Fire services personnel
- Former fire service personnel with fire years’ service
- Medically retired fire personnel
- Those who manage or assist a Fire Services Youth Scheme
- Fire services chaplains or faith leaders
- Eligible dependents
- Fire services volunteers
