A woman has been rescued by firefighters after the car she was driving ended up hanging over a 4ft drop.
When crews arrived on the scene they found the small Fiat car hanging precariously over the wall of a bin store at the bottom of a hill. A woman in her 70s was inside the vehicle unable to get out.
Firefighters quickly stabilised the car, and were then able to bend the driver’s door back.
Working alongside paramedics the woman was assisted on to a spinal board and taken to hospital by ambulance. She was suffering from suspected neck injuries.
