Crews attend car fire

Crews from Patchway, Pill and Portishead were called to reports of a car on fire at 11:09.

With one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus, crews used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The incident was left in the hands of highways colleagues.

The cause of the incident was determined to have been accidental ignition.

Fires on privately owned boats kill at least three people every year.
