Crews called to tractor fire

Old Gloucester Road, Thornbury

Crews from Thornbury, Avonmouth and Patchway responded to reports of a tractor fire at 19:53.

On arrival, crews found one tractor and slurry pump well alight. 

Using one high pressure hose reel including foam and one 45mm jet, crews were able to extinguish the fire. Three firefighters wore breathing apparatus. 

The cause of the incident was determined to have been accidental ignition.
