Crews mobilised to fuse fire

Two crews from Yate and one from Temple fire station were mobilised to reports of a fire.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire in the mains fuse board in a residential property.

Crews used one CO2 extinguish to tackle the fire and isolated the mains.

They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.

The cause is thought to be accidental and crews remained on scene to provide fire safety advice.
