Queensholm Drive, Downend
Crews from Kingswood and Temple fire stations were called to a fire on the ground floor of a private residential, semi-detached house.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used one high-pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire, which originated in the kitchen.
They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the building.
One lady, 92, was rescued prior to the arrival of the crews and was being seen by ambulance crew, as were two males who were also being treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
