Hay fire started deliberately

Redhill Lane, Olveston

Crews were called to an area of open ground after straw bales were set alight.

Firefighters from Thornbury fire station attended the incident and used one high-pressure hose reel and a hay fork to extinguish the fire by spreading it over a large area.

Police and the owner were also in attendance.

The cause is thought to be deliberate.
