Fire in flat above Filton pub

Gloucester Road North, Filton
Crews were called to a fire in a flat above a two storey building used as a public house. When firefighters arrived on scene smoke could be seen coming from the rear of the building.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire in the lounge of the flat and a ventilation fan was also used to clear the property of smoke.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to have been caused accidentally.
