Crews called after bus collides with tree

Hill House Road, Mangotsfield

Two crews from Kingswood Fire Station were called out following a collision between a double-decker bus and a tree.

Once on scene firefighters found a large branch from the tree had struck the bus and then fallen into the road, hitting two other cars.

No one was injured in the incident, however a lady in her 40s was treated on the scene for shock by firefighters and the ambulance service.

The road was partially closed during the incident.

On average, 89 fire-related accidents and injuries occur on boats every year.
