Kitchen fire in Thornbury public house

Milbury Heath, Thornbury

Crews were called to a fire in the kitchen of a building used as a public house in Milbury Heath in Thornbury.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two high pressure high reels to tackle the fire. A ventilation fan was also used to clear the property of smoke.

One 48 year old female was treated on scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance personnel.

Three crews attended the incident from Yate, Temple and Nailsea RDS.

The fire thought to have started accidentally.
