Woman rescued after three-car RTC

Park Road, Downend

A woman was rescued by firefighters following a road traffic collision involving two cars and a van.

When crews arrived they found the female, thought to be in her 40s, trapped in one of the cars.

Working alongside paramedics, the woman was freed and taken to hospital.

Fires account for nearly half of all accidental child deaths.
