Abson Road, Abson, Wick
Firefighters dealt with a fire in a building used as an office in the grounds of a farm which is thought to have been started after lightning struck the property.
When crews arrived they found the building well alight.
Using two high pressure hose reels and a 45mm jet, two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were able to extinguish the blaze, which caused extensive damage.
An investigation into the cause of the fire found it most probably started accidentally after being struck during a storm, as all other possible causes were ruled out.
Crews worked hard to prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring and adjoining buildings.
