Early years fire service discovery pack

Our Children and Young People (CYP) department offer a roleplay-based Fire Service awareness discovery learning pack. The pack’s activities align to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) outcomes and contains a range of resources which inspire creative and engaging play. From interaction with the pack, we hope that children gain a positive awareness of who the Fire and Rescue Service is and some of the ways in which we help to keep our communities safe.

As well as a range of resources for the children, the pack also contains two texts for adults to lead activities and a pack of photocopiable resources to further consolidate learning.

Once booked, information will be sent to you to share with parents and carers around fire safety in the home and how parents with children under five can book a free Home Fire Safety Visit.

For more resources or safety advice, follow AF&RS Children and Young People Department on social media – @AFRSCYP on both Twitter and Facebook
