The AF&RS Environmental Response Unit (ERU) was mobilised after staff at a bar mixed sulphuric acid and bleach while cleaning.
The mixture caused a vapour and ten people were evacuated from the premises.
Crews worked with staff to clean up the spillage and ventilate the premises.
One person was treated by paramedics for irritated eyes.
