Firefighters have rescued a man in his 60s following a road traffic collision involving six vehicles.
When crews arrived on the scene they found the man trapped in his vehicle and suffering from suspected spinal injuries. Two other people who had been in other vehicles were also treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
Firefighters worked quickly to stabilised the vehicle with the trapped male inside. Using hydraulic cutting equipment they then removed the roof of the car.
