A cyclist has been assisted by fire crews after he fell from his bike.
When crews arrived on the scene they found the 57 year-old man lying on his back with the handlebars embedded in his leg. He was holding the bike up in the air, taking the weight of the bike.
Firefighters cut the handlebars off the bike using hydraulic cutting equipment. A doctor, who had arrived by air ambulance assessed the man. He was then taken to hospital by road ambulance.
