Crews respond to house fire

Greenfield Crescent, Nailsea

Crews from Nailsea and Clevedon were called at 07:45 to reports of a fire at a residential property. On arrival, firefighters found a fire on the ground floor and used two high pressure hose reels, one 45mm covering jet and one 45mm safety jet to extinguish the blaze. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety. A positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan was used to clear smoke.

The cause of the fire is thought to have been accidental ignition.
