Crews attend vehicle fire

Crews from Avonmouth were called to reports of a car on fire.

On arrival crews found a fire involving one vehicle.

WIth two firefighters wearing breathing appartus, crews used two hosereels and ten litres of firefighting foam to extinguish the fire.

There were no casualties.

Police and Highways colleagues were also in attendance.

About 400 people a year die in accidental fires in the home.
