Chinese takeaway hit by fire

High Street, Worle, Weston-super-Mare

Crews were called to this fire in a Chinese takeaway, which was part of a two storey, four premise rank of shops.  The fire spread from the ground to first floor, with smoke affecting all four premises via the roof void.

Four jets and two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, which saw crews stopping the spread to adjoining buildings.  A Thermal Imagining Camera (TIC) was used to check for any hot spots.  Thankfully the premise was empty at the time of the fire, which an investigation found to be deliberate.
