Crews called to vehicles alight

Crews from Weston were called to reports of a vehicle fire at 05:00

On arrival, crews found two vehicles well alight.

With two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, crews used two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Also in use was an environmental pack to limit the impact of water run-off.

Police colleagues were also in attendance.

The cause of the incident was determined to have been deliberate ignition.

Faulty electrical appliances, wiring and overloaded sockets cause around 7,000 fires in the home every year in the UK.
