Crews attend vehicle fire

Crews from Weston Super Mare responded to reports of a vehicle fire at 18:04.

On arrival, crews found one vehicle well alight.

With one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus, crews used batter7 operated spreaders and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Crews used road wash and brushes to clear the roadway, and the scene has been made safe.

The cause of the incident is believed to have been deliberate ignition.

A fire can destroy a tent in less than 60 seconds.
