Crews called to road traffic collision

We were called at 11:54 to a road traffic collision on Rhodyate, Blagdon.

Crews from Blagdon, Temple, Winscombe and Yatton attended the incident involving a van and a car.

Firefighters used small gear and a MIB stretcher to rescue a casualty from the van before making the vehicles safe.

We were joined at the scene by police and ambulance colleagues.

Candles cause more than five fires a day.
