Crews mobilised to loft fire

Crews from Winscombe and Blagdon fire stations were mobilised to reports of a fire.

On arrival, firefighters found a fire in the loft of the residential property.

Crews used four breathing apparatus for safety and two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.

They also used two thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots.

The cause is thought to be accidental.

A fire can destroy a tent in less than 60 seconds.
