Hovercraft called to woman stuck in the mud

Crews from Weston fire station, along with the hovercraft, were called to reports of a woman stuck in the mud on the sea front.

On arrival, firefighters used the hovercraft to rescue the female from the mud using access boards.

She was handed to ambulance crews who checked her over at the scene.

Every three days someone dies from a fire caused by a cigarette.
