Crew called to deliberate car fire

Beach Road, Kewstoke

One crew from Weston-super-Mare fire station were called to a car on fire.   

On arrival, firefighters used one high-pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire and one breathing apparatus for safety. 

Crews also used small gear to make the car safe and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots, before using slick off and an environmental pack to clean fuel spillage. 

The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate.
