Vehicle in river following RTC

Clevedon Road, Tickenham 

Crews from Nailsea and Avonmouth fire stations were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles. Subsequently, one vehicle had left the road and entered a river. 

One male casualty in his 70s was rescued from the vehicle using a triple extension ladder and water safety equipment. He was handed to paramedics at the scene.

Police, Ambulance and HART were also in attendance, along with the Environment Agency.
