Man treated by firefighters during flooding

Park Place, Weston-super-Mare

Firefighters from Weston-super-Mare were called to reports of flooding in residential flats in Park Place after a blocked gully on the roof meant rain entered the building.

Two crews used a salvage sheet to tackle the water, which affected all three floors of the building, and a turntable ladder to assess the roof.

A first aid assessment was carried out by firefights on one male in his 80s, but no further treatment was required.
