Crews respond to kitchen fire

Gannet Road, Worle, Weston-super-Mare

Firefighters from Weston-super-Mare Fire Station extinguished a fire in the kitchen of a house.

Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel and a 45mm jet to put the fire out. They cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

It’s thought the fire started accidentally.
