Dog rescued from deep hole

fire engineA Weimaraner dog has been rescued by firefighters after falling into a deep hole.

When crews arrived they found the owner of six month-old Scooby near to a wooded area. The owner explained that the dog had fallen approximately 12 feet into the hole and was unable to get out.

Crews used a ladder and Safety at Height and Confined Spaces (SHACS) equipment to climb down to the dog. They then carried Scooby to safety where he was reunited with his owner. He was unharmed.
