Elderly woman assisted from RTC

Firefighters have helped a woman in her 70s after she became stuck in her car as a result of a collision.

When crews arrived they found the female inside the Citroen vehicle which was on its side.

They stabilised the vehicle and then created space in the car and helped the woman to safety.

She was then assessed by paramedics and did not required hospital treatment.
