Four people injured in RTC

Bridgwater Road, Uphill, Weston-super-Mare
Four people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision involving two cars.
When crews arrived they found a Vauxhall Astra and a Nissan Micra involved.
The driver of the Vauxhall Astra was not trapped but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Three people in the Nissan Micra needed help from firefighters to get out. A male in his late teens was assisted from the car after the roof and doors were removed by crews using hydraulic cutting equipment.
Working alongside paramedics the female driver and a male passenger, both thought to be in their 50s, were assisted on to spinal boards. The woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance and the two males went to hospital by road ambulance.
