RTC leaves woman trapped

Chew Road, Winford
A woman has been cut free from her car by firefighters after a road traffic collision.
When crews arrived they found one vehicle involved, a Ford S-Max.
A woman in her 60s was trapped in the vehicle and complaining of back pain.
Crews quickly stabilised the car and using hydraulic cutting equipment they removed the roof of the vehicle.
Working alongside paramedics the woman was assisted on to a spinal board and taken to hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
