One rescued from five vehicle motorway RTC

M5 Motorway, southbound junctions 21 and 22
One person was rescued from their car following a collision involving five vehicles.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service crews from Weston-super-Mare and Avonmouth were joined by a fire engine from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
Six people involved in the incident were checked over by paramedics. A seventh person, a 20-year-old man, was trapped in his vehicle and required rescuing. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
