The Service are due to publish a List of AF&RS appliances that have been donated to our charity partners, GAFSIP. We intended to do this by 30 September 2020 but this will now be delayed by a couple of weeks due to other demands on the Service at this time and absences within the relevant teams.
We advise that in order maintain our resilience, it may be appropriate for our fleet department to move around our operational vehicles and therefore our fleet lists will be continually updated.
As part of our fire safety activities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO), we have a public register of any notices we serve on properties which require increased or improved fire safety precautions. There is also a host of information about the Fire Service that is available on the GOV.UK website such as:
- Fire Statistics Monitor, which cover the national statistics on fires, casualties, false alarms and non-fire incidents attended by the fire and rescue services in England
- Fire and rescue authorities: operational statistics for England, which comprise of annual statistics about fire and rescue authorities’ staff, numbers of injuries to firefighters, fire safety audits of buildings and community fire safety
- Fire Incidents Response Times
AF&RS publish anonymised incident data (calls that we have attended) on our website, which you can download here for each month of the current financial year. Our published data is from October 2008 – March 2009 and then for complete financial years from 2009/10 onwards.
The data is presented on our website in a CSV spreadsheet format and you can apply your own searches via the filter function to obtain the required data.
