Bristol firefighters welcome Trail Blazer colleague and ex SAS trooper Chris Ryan

Firefighters from Temple Fire Station in the centre of Bristol have today (Wednesday 15 September) welcomed two special guests to the station.

Crews from Blue Watch met Yorkshire firefighter Tim Evers, who is driving a fire engine from John O’Groats, in Scotland, to Land’s End, in Cornwall, for charity.

Tim is visiting every fire and rescue service in the UK as he completes his journey.

Joining him at Temple Fire Station was former British Special Services operative and now author and television presenter Chris Ryan as part of efforts to raise awareness of the Trail Blazer Challenge.

Tim left Scotland on Monday 6 September and has been collecting money from members of the public along the route in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity and Help for Heroes.
