Crews attend outbuilding fire

We were called to reports of a fire at 20:31.

Crews from Kingswood, Temple and Southmead attended the incident.

On arrival, crews found one fire affecting an outbuilding.

With two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, crews used two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Also in use were thermal imaging cameras and small tools to help ensure that the scene was safe.

The cause of the incident is thought to have been accidental ignition.

Faulty electrical appliances, wiring and overloaded sockets cause around 7,000 fires in the home every year in the UK.
