Crews mobilised to house fire

Cromer Road, Easton

Crews from Temple were called at 08:15 to reports of smoke issuing from a domestic property. On arrival, firefighters found a fire in the bedroom upstairs and used two high pressure hose reels and one 45mm jet to extinguish the blaze. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety and a positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan was used to clear smoke. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for any remaining hotspots.

The cause of the fire is thought to have been accidental ignition.
