Crews respond to house fire

Clavell Road, Henbury.

We were called at 20:19 to reports of a house fire on Clavell Road, Henbury.

Crews from Southmead, Temple, Avonmouth and Patchway were called to the incident.

On arrival, firefighters found one house fire well alight. Crews extinguished the blaze using high pressure hose reels, one 45mm jet, thermal imaging cameras and ventilation fans. Six firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety.

One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance colleagues.

Fire investigation concluded the cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate.
