Crews called to flat fire

Hannover Quay, Bristol City Centre

Crews from Temple, Bedminster and Southmead were called at 12:33 to reports of a fire in a flat.

On arrival, firefighters found that the cooking pan fire had already been extinguished. Consequently, they fully inspected the scene – including the extraction unit – using a thermal imaging camera and gas monitors. A positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan was used to clear smoke.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental ignition.
