Tumble dryer fire

Clifton Place, Easton.

Crews from Patchway and Temple were called to reports of smoke issuing in a home.

On arrival, after two firefighters wore breathing apparatus investigated the property, firefighters extinguished a small fire involving a tumble dryer.

Crews used one high pressure hose reel and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the blaze. Ventilation fans were used to clear smoke from the property.

The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
