Crews extinguish car fire

Crews from Southmead and Patchway were called to reports of a car fire.

On arrival, they found one car well alight.

One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate.

Faulty electrical appliances, wiring and overloaded sockets cause around 7,000 fires in the home every year in the UK.
