Crews mobilised to reports of vehicle fire

Crews from Southmead and Temple were mobilised to reports of a vehicle fire on Chandos Road, Bristol at 4.55am.

Firefighters used two high pressure hose reels, two breathing apparatus and hose reel foam to extinguish the blaze.

A positive pressure venitilation fan was also used to ventilate a nearby property.

Faulty electrical appliances, wiring and overloaded sockets cause around 7,000 fires in the home every year in the UK.
