Crews mobilised to car fire

Crews from Hicks Gate fire station were mobilised to reports of a car on fire.

On arrival, firefighters found a car alight.

Firefighters used one breathing apparatus for safety, and one high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause is thought to be accidental.

A fire can destroy a tent in less than 60 seconds.
