Taxi fire at petrol station

Crews from Temple fire station were called after a taxi caught fire while leaving a petrol station.

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used one high-pressure hose reel and one 45mm jet to extinguish the blaze.

Advice was also given to staff at the petrol station following the incident.

The road was closed and police notified the local authority about damage to the road.

The cause is thought to be accidental.
