Arthur Milton Street, Bishopston
Fire crews were called out following reports of a structural collapse at a three-storey block of flats in Bristol.
Firefighers from Southmead, Kingswood and Avonmouth, along with crews trained in Urban Search and Rescue from Hicks Gate Fire Station were alerted after residents of a first floor flat reported a large bang and feeling the floor level dropping a number of inches.
The incident was reported above a ground floor communal area used as a bike store where there was thought to have been a partial collapse. Around 40 people were evacuated from the building as a precaution.
With the situtation now stable Avon Fire & Rescue Service will be working with the sites' managers to hand over the incident.
